LONDON: It is with great sadness, a heavy heart and in contentment with the decree of Allah that we inform to all that Mr. Ashraf Khurshid Kazi – husband of Mrs. Rukhsana Kazi, father of Summer and Sehr Ashraf, father-in-law of Waqas Javed, Osama Ahmad and grandfather of Danyal Ahmad has passed away. إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
He left this makeshift world surrounded by his family and we shall remember him as a beacon of strength, love and wisdom. His Namaz-e-janazah took place on Friday morning (9th February) at 10.45am at Carpenders Park Lawn Cemetery, Oxhey Ln, Watford WD19 5RL
“Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.” (Quran, 31:34)
The late Mr. Ashraf Khurshid Kazi does not need a introduction. He was a well-known personality, former Managing Editor of Daily Jang, London, son-in-law of media tycoon late Mir Khalilur Rehman, and brother-in-law of Mir Shakil-ur-Rehman, Editor-in-Chief, Jang Karachi.
May Almighty Allah bless his soul and give moral strength to his well-wishers to bear this irrevocable loss. A number of grieved mourners including senior journalist and Editor of The Nation M.
