WOLVERHAMPTON: Detectives investigating the murder of 19-year-old Shawn Seesahai in Wolverhampton have made two arrests. Shawn sadly died after being stabbed on open land off Laburnum Road, East Park just before 8.30pm on Monday.
According to West Midland Police, two 12-year-old boys were arrested last night from their home addresses on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.
We have increased dedicated patrols in the area as we understand this incident will have caused deep concern in the local community, police said.

Mr Seesahai died after being stabbed on land off Laburnum Street, East Park, just before 20:30 GMT on Monday.
Officers said dedicated patrols would be stepped up following local concern.
Det Ch Insp Dave Sanders, of West Midlands Police, said the investigation was “moving at pace”.
He added the two boys remained in custody and Mr Seesahai’s relatives were being kept updated as the probe continued. “We continue to encourage anyone with information to contact us,” he said.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said crews arrived to discover Mr Seesahai critically ill with serious injuries. Paramedics battled to save his life but he died at the scene, a spokesperson added. Police said they were continuing door-to-door inquiries and trawling CCTV from around the area.
Roads near the scene were closed off as forensic experts carried out examinations.
Witnesses told the BBC at least seven police cars had been dispatched to the scene following Seesahai’s death.
Pat McFadden, MP for Wolverhampton South East, said the stabbing was devastating and his thoughts were with the victim’s family and friends.
