BIRMINGHAM: A man has been jailed after West midlands Police recovered a handgun and ammunition from an address in Birmingham.
Police said that they acted on information and executed a warrant in Cotterills Lane, Ward End, on 30 April this year.
Ahmad Sharifi was arrested from the address and charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition. The 24-year-old pleaded guilty to the offences and was jailed for five years at Birmingham Crown Court last Monday (14 August).
