LONDON: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz arrived in London on Thursday evening via Doha where she met his son Junaid Safdar and his wife. Later both of them reached here with her mother.

It become possible for Maryam Nawaz to see her beloved father when she was given passport in Lahore after several years on Tuesday.

On Monday, LHC had ordered to return Maryam Nawaz’s passport after a three-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of LHC wrapped up the petition filed by the PML-N leader for her passport return after National accountability Bureau (NAB) decided not to oppose Maryam’s plea.

There were very emotional scenes when father and daughter saw each other after about four years. Before leaving for London, she visited the graves of her grand-parents and mother in Raiwand.

Earlier, formally talking to journalists, anxiously waiting father and former prime minister said that these are biggest excited moments for him to welcome his beloved daughter.

A large number of PML-N workers and supporters were eagerly waiting at Avenfield House for their leaders and were chanting slogans “Meri Awaz, teri awaz – Maryam Nawaz, Maryam Nawaz” and “PML-N zindabad”.

 According to itinerary, Maryam Nawaz will stay here for about one month and during this period, she will have surgery and several meetings of her party. Many leaders of PML-N are expected to come to participate these meetings.

Due to heavy rush of enthusiastic workers, Maryam Nawaz could not address and hopefully will meet and address the them at party office on Friday (today).
