LONDON: Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistan is playing an exemplary role in the Afghan Peace Process. The world community should also ensure unconditional support for the crisis-ridden people of Afghanistan.

The previous governments of Pakistan did not strengthen the institutions but the present government is pursuing a policy of strengthening the institutions and practical steps are being taken for this. Cases have not been decided in Pakistani courts for years, but reform in persecution and police is the greatest need of the hour, which must be given full attention.

He said that Overseas Pakistanis must participate in the politics of Pakistan but at the same time they must participate in the politics of the countries where they live. In order to increase Pakistan’s influence in European countries, it is necessary for Pakistanis to be active in the politics of United States, European countries along with the United Kingdom, and apart from local bodies, take part in elections there as well. InshAllah, when all Pakistanis unite and enter into politics, victory will be their destiny.
