QUETTA: In a very hard-hitting speech and condemning the overall system on Thursday, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), has said that our bureaucracy, the Establishment, controls the election results so that the Western world can be told not to worry too much about the presence of religious people.

Addressing the JUI-F Ulema Convention in Quetta, he said that even today the two major world economies are in competition with each other but in this environment, we have to keep in view our national and collective interest.

“We’ve spent 70 years in American slavery and Europe’s economy, we have to travel to a new future,” he said adding that we have been saying for 70 years that China is a friend of Pakistan but when Beijing started its new future it started from the land of Pakistan and JUI-F had a role in it.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that when I was the chairman of the foreign affairs committee, our committee was invited and negotiations continued for a week and they declared some cities of the country as free economy zones in response to which we demanded that Make Xinjiang a high-rise city as a free economy zone so that your trade routes can be opened through Pakistan.

“China accepted our offer and the 70-year-old friendship turned into an economic one,” he said.

The JUI-F chief said: “When elections arrive, our country’s system, bureaucracy and establishment keep control of electoral results in their hands so the Western world can be told to not worry about religious people — [that] they have at most 12-14 seats and they don’t have support among Pakistan’s people.”

He alleged that for the above reason, “they (bureaucracy and the establishment) carry out rigging”.

“This time we have taken notice of this. We always knew about this but this time we took notice [of that rigging]. [We] took such notice that the JUI carried out ’14 million marches’ in all the country and then lastly did the ‘Azadi March’.

‘C-Pack’ project destroyed

Referring to the Pak-China Economic Corridor (CPEC), the JUI-F chief said that roads and industrial zones would be constructed in the country from Gilgit to Gwadar for which 17,000 MW of electricity was required but where would it come from?

Maulana Fazlur Rehman termed CPEC as C-Pack and said that this C-Pack project was destroyed, a 126-day sit-in was called using Imran Khan under former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, as a result of which the Chinese President had to postpone his visit and this process was done by US and Europe.

He said that when PTI came to power the whole project was reduced to dust, all other projects have stopped and the government says that Pakistan cannot afford mega projects.

He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has linked the opening of a chicken coop and saving eggs to improve the economy of Pakistan and so far he has bought land near Okara where high breed donkeys would be bred.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that after the general election when the PTI government was formed a high level delegation came to me and they held 3 meetings in which I was tempted to spend with the government a lot of money came from abroad.

He said that he had made it clear that he would not discuss the issue in future and thus there was silence in the assembly.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that in the end the delegation acknowledged that both his speeches were correct that Imran Khan is a Jewish agent and Imran Khan is the representative of western civilization so we are fighting with him.

He said that when the Jewish world wanted to help financially, a business class would be born on earth to integrate money, and when it did, it would not like to look at the Islamic environment and society.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that religion has deep roots in the Pashtun belt and there was no better servant than Imran Khan to destroy it.

He said that a lot of money came here but it was not known that the rupee was depreciating against the dollar. “Our bureaucracy, the Establishment, controls the election results so that the Western world can be told not to be alarmed by the religious people, their numbers are not large,” he said. Made 14 million marches.

The JUI-F chief said that July 25, 2018 was the day of Pakistan’s history when the country’s general elections were rigged and yesterday November 17 was the day of Pakistan’s history when 51 laws from our Parliament and Senate were passed in one hour. Passed inside.

He said that the culprit who stood behind the general election was the one who stood behind passing the laws.

Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said that they do not reject the amendments passed yesterday but keep them on the tip of their shoes. The government is not ashamed of this either.
