Police officer charged
with theft, perverting
course of justice


LONDON: A serving Met officer has been charged with theft and perverting the course of justice. PC Mohammad Ghalayini, attached to North Area BCU, was arrested on Wednesday, 24 March following an investigation by the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards.

According to Met information, He was charged on Monday, 25 October and will appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 18 November. PC Ghalayini has been suspended from duty.
