Imran, Niazi discuss future
planning of AJK uplift


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the Pakistan government firmly stands with the just struggle of Kashmiri people for attaining their fundamental right to self-determination. He was talking to the Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi who called him here on Thursday. The Pakistan Prime Minister said that he will continue to raise voice against the Indian forces’ repressions against Kashmiri people at every international fora.

Matters regarding the overall development of Azad Kashmir and future planning for the uplift of Azad Kashmir were also discussed during the meeting.

The Azad Kashmir Prime Minister on the occasion said that the foremost priority of his government is to address the people’s problems and to expose the Indian forces atrocities on innocent Kashmiri people over the globe.

Imran Khan said the government and people of Pakistan would continue to stand by Kashmiris in their struggle for their right to self-determination. Imran Khan said Pakistan would remain steadfast in raising a strong voice against Indian oppression against the innocent Kashmiris at all forums.

He felicitated the newly elected prime minister of AJK and discussed the ongoing and future development projects.

Sardar Niazi thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for reposing trust in him and said the priority of his government would be to resolve the problems of the people of AJK.

He said every possible effort would be made to highlight the problems of the Kashmiri brothers and sisters across the border against the Illegal occupation of India. Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur was also present at the meeting.

Problems of AJK people

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi has said that the government of Tehreek-e-Insaf in Azad Kashmir has come into power to serve the masses with missionary spirit to address the problems of the people of Azad Kashmir.

Addressing a high-level meeting of Azad Kashmir Food Department here on Thursday, he said that all resources would be channelized to provide basic amenities of life to the people in accordance with the vision of the Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The Prime Minister directed the officials of the food department to ensure the provision of flour to meet the requirements of the people. He said steps would be taken to provide health and education facilities to the people on priority basis and supply of food items to the people would also be ensured. He said funds would be provided to the Food department to meet the demands of food items  to   the people of Azad Kashmir.  

Meeting with Mirza Afridi

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi has said that revolutionary steps would be taken for the development of Tourism to promote domestic tourism in Azad Kashmir.

Talking to deputy chairman senate Mirza Muhammad Afridi, Minister of state for information Farrukh Habib and Head of the Kamyab Jawan program Mr. Usman Dar here on Tuesday, the Prime Minister said that infrastructure will be improved and special attention will be given for the provision of education and health facilities to the people of the state. He said efforts will also be made to create jobs for educated youth to overcome unemployment.

Special policy for investment will be prepared to provide investment opportunities for the investors in Azad Kashmir. Deputy chairman senate speaking on the occasion expressed his full support to the Prime Minister and assured full cooperation to help promote investment    in Azad Kashmir. The Minister for state for information also assured the Prime Minister his full cooperation and said that media will fully support the policy of the new government to implement its policy for the wellbeing of the people of the state.
