ISLAMABAD: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi has urged upon the United Nations to play its leading role for stopping human rights violations by the Indian forces on innocent Kashmiri people in Jammu & Kashmir.
Talking to a delegation which called on him led by the Hurriyet leader Abdul Hameed lone at Jammu and Kashmir house here on Tuesday, he reaffirmed his government’s resolve to make Azad Kashmir a real base camp of Kashmir liberation movement. He said the Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is the real ambassador of Kashmiri people and will expose the Indian forces’ repression on innocent Kashmiri people at international level.
The Prime Minister said India has intensified the reign of terror in occupied Kashmir which is an open challenge for the world community. He said the Indian Prime Minister is engaged to crush the freedom movement with the use of military might to crush the freedom movement launched by the people of occupied Kashmir for attaining their fundamental right to self-determination.
Referring to the development of Azad Kashmir he said revolutionary steps for the development of Azad Kashmir will be taken to bring about socio-economic changes in the lives of the people of Azad Kashmir
Mr.Abdul Hameed lone speaking on the occasion said that entire occupied Kashmir has been converted into a jail and India has crossed all the limits of repressions and added that the daily killings of Kashmiri youth has become an order of the day. Kashmiri women and even old persons are also being killed daily by the Indian forces which is an open challenge for the world community.
Meeting with Sultan Mahmood
Meanwhile the President of Tehreek-e-Insaf Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Choudhary met the Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi in Islamabad. Both leaders reaffirmed their resolve to implement the vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan in Azad Kashmir. They expressed their commitment to serve the people with missionary zeal and in this connection would take the stockholders on board to come up with the expectations of the people.
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary and Inspector General Police also held a meeting with the Azad Kashmir Prime Minister at Kashmir House in Islamabad on Wednesday and facilitated his election as Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir. They briefed the Prime Minister about the law & order situation in Azad Kashmir.

The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi has said that Indian designs have jeopardized the peace of the entire world and urged upon the United Nations to fulfill its obligations for resolving the longstanding Kashmir dispute for establishing lasting and durable peace in the region.
He was talking to The Chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan Muhammad Khalid Khursheed Khan, Chairman Kashmir Committee Shehryar Afridi and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Ali Nawaz Awan who met the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir separately in Islamabad here on Wednesday. They facilitated the Prime Minister for his election as a Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir.
The Prime Minister said India has intensified the reign of terror in Occupied Kashmir to suppress the indigenous freedom movement launched by the people of Occupied Kashmir for attaining their fundamental right to self-determination. He said despite Indian repressions the morale of the people of Occupied Kashmir is high and they would continue their struggle till the complete liberation of occupied Kashmir from Indian clutches.
A member of the Azad Kashmir legislative Assembly Ch.Muhammad Ishaq and Javed Butt also met the Prime Minister in Islamabad.
