ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi visited Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Headquarters in federal capital on Thursday. According to details, President was briefed on national security dynamics including situation in Afghanistan.

ISLAMABAD: DG-ISI Lt Gen Faiz Hameed welcoming to President Dr. Arif Ali at the General Headquarter on Thursday.

The President, being keenly interested in the subject, was also briefed on cyber security. He appreciated the efforts of Inter-Services Intelligence for national security and expressed his satisfaction over professional preparedness.

According to informed sources, President Alvi was especially interested in knowing the development in Afghanistan. He important developments are being reported from various parts of the world which are directly affected the Kabul developments.

President Dr Arif Alvi was given a detailed briefing on the dynamics of national security and the situation in Afghanistan during his visit to the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Headquarters on Thursday. In view of the president’s keen interest in cyber security, he was also briefed on the subject.

Other issues were also briefed but did not disclose. The president lauded the efforts of Inter-Services Intelligence for national security and expressed his satisfaction over its professional preparedness. Earlier, Director General ISI Lt General Faiz Hamid welcomed the president on his arrival at the ISI Headquarters.
