ISLAMABAD: British High Commissioner Dr Christian Turner called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Friday and discussed various issues of mutual interest.
According to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate following the meeting; “Matters of mutual interest, overall regional security situation and Afghan Peace Process were discussed during the meeting.”
Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa was satisfied over the bilateral relations and thanked the dignitary for UK’s contribution towards fight against COVID-19 in Pakistan.
The UK envoy was also satisfied with the relations in various sections of life and expressed hopes that these bilateral relations would be enhanced further with the passage of time.
