Overseas Kashmiris playing vital role their country: Farooq Haider


MUZAFFARABAD: AJK Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has lauded the vibrant role of overseas Kashmiri for projecting the Kashmir issue and Indian forces repressions over the globe.

Addressing a function held in connection with the launching of the book of a renowned poet Ghazala Habib here on Wednesday, he said overseas Kashmiri side by side earning for their family also utilizing their capabilities for projecting the issue of Kashmiri in its true perspective at international level.

He said the Organization of Ghazala Habib has played a vital role in protecting the core issue of Jammu and Kashmir in the United States   and raised the voice of oppressed Kashmiri people to the parliaments as well as among the people.

 He said the Kashmir issue was in the sharp focus of the world attention before COVID 19 and due to the pandemic of COVID 19 the importance of Kashmir issue was not effectively entertained at international level.

The Prime Minister said Indian Prime Minister is bent upon to change the demography of the state and is engaged to snatch the identity of the Muslims of occupied and added that Indian Prime Minister illegal and immoral actions are an open violation of not only the United Nations Resolutions but the international laws as well. He said the settlement of Kashmir dispute in accordance with the United Nations resolutions is the only way for establishing durable peace in the region.

The Prime Minister said that Indian forces have been targeting the civil populations of Azad Kashmir from across the line of control to crush the freedom movement. The Prime Minister   appreciated the role of the Pakistan government for projecting  the Kashmir issue and   Indian  forces repressions at international level effectively .  He said strong and stable Pakistan is the ultimate source to project the voice of Kashmiri people at international level.
