“I am apprising world about mindset of India towards Kashmir”; says Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has called the Indian premier a “psychopath” and “coward”, and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) a production of Hitler’s Nazi party which was pushing India towards the Muslim genocide.

In his very aggressive speech at an event in Muzaffarabad on Friday, he repeated his words; “Modi is a psychopath. He is not a normal person. His party RSS is production of Hitler’s Nazi party”.

“They consider them a follower of the Nazi party and regard that as their role model. That is why they do such acts,” Imran Khan said addressing the launching ceremony of Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme for the families living along the Line of Control.

The ceremony was attended by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Social Safety Dr Sania Nishtar, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan and Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider, and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, besides the entitled families.

Imran Khan, who earlier also distributed cheques among the entitled people, said “though the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK) had been facing Indian aggression for long, the Modi regime with the RSS mindset of Hindu supremacy had surpassed all”. On the prime minister’s directive, all the 138,275 families of 219 villages have been declared entitled for the emergency cash assistance. The families would receive monthly stipend of Rs 2,000 besides an emergency cash of Rs 12,000 to be given to the women of the said households.

Referring to the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture being observed Friday, he said in the J&K, the occupation forces had used pellet guns, picked up youths, tortured men, women and children, besides killing and burying scores of people in mass graves.

Imran Khan said it was Modi, who had ordered the killing of Muslims in Gujarat and expelled around 100,000 Muslims from their homes when he was the chief minister. Similar to Modi, he reiterated, Hitler’s Nazi party had also initiated from promulgating discriminatory laws which followed the genocide of Jews and other communities.” He remarked; “This is actually heading towards genocide.”

Imran Khan said he had been apprising the world leaders of the RSS mindset and their aggression in the J&K as well as Muslims and other Indian minorities. “In fact, he is pushing India to destruction. Even literate Hindus also think he (Modi) is dragging India to destruction,” he added.

Annual grant enhanced

Meanwhile, chairing a meeting in Muzaffarabad on Friday, Imran Khan said the Pakistan Government had enhanced the annual budget grant of AJK despite negative impacts upon the country’s economy caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Federal Government also did not reduce the budget allocations for Balochistan and Gilgit Baltistan in hard times because it realized that unless the backward and less developed areas achieved progress and development, Pakistan could not prosper, he added.

The meeting reviewed the coronavirus situation and pace of work on different uplift projects in the AJK. The meeting was attended by Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan Affairs Ali Amin Gandapur, AJK President Sardar Masood Khan and Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider, PM Special Assistant Dr Sania Nishtar, AJK ministers and senior officials.

The AJK chief secretary apprised the prime minister of the coronavirus situation, treatment of patients, capacity building of the medical staff and doctors with the full assistance of the Government of Pakistan, implementation of the standard operating procedures (SOPs) by the public, distribution of health cards among all the residents of the AJK, welfare of the affected persons of the Line of Control, pace of work on the development projects and the road-map for the implementation of future projects.

The AJK president and prime minister, on the occasion, expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Imran Khan on taking interest in the welfare and progress of the people of Azad Kashmir, and the assistance provided by the Federal Government.
