‘Azan’ goes on air for religious unity


LONDON: Thursday (June 11) was a unique day for the religious freedom, unity, cohesion and tranquillity when all places of worship called for the prayers at the same time in Brent at 8pm.

Azan (prayer call) was relayed at Central Mosque, East Finchley and Brent in a very spiritual atmosphere. Ch. Mohammad Sadeeq, Chairman, Islamic Centre and Central Mosque, east Finchley, and Tariq Dar, Chairman, Pakistan Community Centre, Willesden Green congratulated Muslim community and followers of other faiths for making the history of community unity and cohesion.
