Appeal to find Tamoor missing from mental health unit in Wales

BIRMINGHAM: Police have appealed for information to help find a man who has gone missing from a mental health unit in Wales. Tamoor Hasan, aged 33, escaped from Llanarth Court Hospital in the Monmouthshire area just before 5pm on 27 January.

According to West Midlands police, Hasan is originally from Birmingham and officers believe he travelled back to the city since leaving the hospital and is currently staying in the area.

He’s described as Asian, with a shaved head and full beard. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black Adidas sweatshirt, grey jogging bottoms, black sliders, and purple socks with a grey coat.

Hasan suffers from severe mental health issues and we’re advising anyone who sees him not to approach him directly but to please call 999 immediately.
