IT was a pleasure talking to a very talented and natural actor in Hindi cinema talking about his upcoming films and his character.

He said; “My character holds a very important place in the film it’s not a normal guest appearance.

Actor Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub who was last seen in Manikarnika now will be seen in Article 15 in a very pivotal role.

On talking about the film, “It is inspired by real life incidents and a different story altogether. People will connect with it just as film mulk as it was also inspired by many headlines on newspapers and on screen . So this film is also inspired by many stories and headlines we have seen on papers and television over the years.”

“I right now I can’t talk much about my role. Already people are speculating many things about my character. Though I don’t have much scene but it’s a very special character. It’s not just a normal guest appearance but it holds a very important place in the whole film. If you take my character out ( Mishab ) out of article 15 so the basic political point that the film is trying to make won’t be able to,” zeeshan apprises about his role.

On talking about the going controversy of film, “This film talk on basic idea of looking at people as lower caste or upper caste leads to disbalance  hierarchy in the society . Obviously it is wrong and unfair in our society. It is a biased system. Already there is so much of controversy about the film the only thing I would say it shows very wrong about our society actually about few people that without even watching the film they are assuming of a story of their own and believing that it is true. They criticizing the film and having protest so that is not something one should do. “

On working with Ayushmann ,”It was really good. We had a great time. Actually we know each other since long back but never worked together but now we got a chance to share screen together. “

Undoubtedly, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub is a talented actor.

Born and bred in Delhi, Zeeshan completed his training in National School of Drama, after which he received his first film role in No One Killed Jessica (NOKJ).

Though his negative role in NOKJ was quite brief, this was sufficient for us to observe his calibre as an actor. Since then, he has shown in various roles in big films like Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Phantom, Raees and Thugs of Hindostan, to name a few.

His association with filmmaker Aanand L Rai began since Raanjhanaa days and we’ve even seen him play a prominent role as Kangana Ranaut’s admirer in Tanu Weds Manu Returns.

As Sadiq in Raees, Narayan in Tubelight, Guddu Singh in Zero, and Sadashiv in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, actor Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub has often impressed the audience with his on-screen performance. Zeeshan was last seen in the Kangana starrer and will soon feature in Anubhav Sinha’s next film Article 15. The actor who plays a pivotal role in the movie recently opened up about the flick that will release on June 20 this year.

“It is inspired by real-life incidents and a different story altogether. People will connect with it just as film Mulk as it was also inspired by many headlines on newspapers and on screen. So this film is also inspired by many stories and headlines we have seen on papers and television over the years,” said the actor.

Zeeshan further added, “Right now I can’t talk much about my role. Already people are speculating many things about my character. Though I don’t have many scenes it’s a very special character. It’s not just a normal guest appearance but it holds a very important place in the whole film. If you take my character out (Mishab) of article 15, the basic political point that the film is trying to make won’t be able to.”

Article 15, that is reportedly inspired by the Badaun rape and murder case earned the ire of the Brahmin community in Uttar Pradesh, who felt that the story the makers are trying to portray is ‘tweaked’. Throwing light on the ongoing controversy around the film, Zeeshan said, “This film talk on the basic idea of looking at people as lower caste or upper caste leads to disbalance hierarchy in the society. Obviously, it is wrong and unfair in our society. It is a biased system. Already there is so much of controversy about the film the only thing I would say it shows very wrong about our society actually about few people that without even watching the film they are assuming of a story of their own and believing that it is true. They criticizing the film and having protest so that is not something one should do. “
