SO, you have a last minute party to attend and all the salons have shut down. And, those ugly facial hair won’t let you make it a night to remember? Well, fret not, for there are some superb hacks that you can use to get rid of the obnoxious facial hair and look your best!
Conceal with make-up
Make-up can do wonders, isn’t it? Well, when it can make anyone a shade lighter than their original skin tone, then it can definitely hide your facial hair, if not get rid of it. All you need to do is pick up a concealer/foundation that goes with your skin tone and apply it with a brush in the direction that your facial hair is growing. Once you are done with the base, finish off with a dash of compact powder. Though it won’t entirely cover the dark coloured and coarse hair, it will definitely hide most of the facial hair!
The good old bleach
Bleach works on the basic fundamental of lightening pigment from the hair. Just apply your usual bleach cream on your entire face and leave it on for fifteen minutes. Thereafter wash it off with normal water. If you are trying out a new bleaching product, don’t forget to do a patch test before using it.
Facial hair waxing is one of the safest methods of hair removal, just that you need to use a facial wax for the purpose. Also, keep this as an emergency tool as repeated facial waxing can loosen facial skin. So, exercise caution.
Tweezing facial hair is considered to be one of the ideal methods to remove unwanted facial hair and it does not cause hair to grow back thicker. But tweezing, if not done correctly can cause cuts on the skin. Just clean your face with a soft cloth dipped in hot water to moisten the skin. Now, pull the skin and pluck one hair at a time. Make sure you pluck in the direction of hair growth.
Everyone has waxing strips at home these days and even if you don’t, you can easily buy them over the counter from any chemist. All you need to do is cut these strips into small pieces (suiting the area you want to pull the hair from) and paste them on the skin. Now, rub your hand on the strip and pull it out in a single move.
