Ingredients

350 gm lamb

1 bay leaf

1 black cardamom

1/4 teaspoon fennel seeds

110 gm onion

1/2 tablespoon garlic

1 green chilli

2 teaspoon coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon turmeric

salt as required

2 tablespoon ghee

4 green cardamom

4 clove

1 cinnamon

60 gm tomato

1/2 tablespoon ginger

8 peppercorns

2 teaspoon red chilli powder

1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder

For Garnishing

1 teaspoon coriander leaves

Preparation

Step 1

To prepare this dish take a heavy-bottomed pot, heat the ghee & add all whole spices to it. Then, add chopped onions, saute till golden, now add ginger garlic paste to it.

Step 2

Add the mutton pieces and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt and roast till mutton is almost tender, then add the pureed tomatoes and keep cooking on low flame.

Step 3

When the gravy leaves the fat, add some water and cook. Cover it with a lid on low flame till lamb meat is tender. Finish this recipe with garam masala, freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
