Ayyan Ali ordered to appear on Feb15


RAWALPINDI: Custom Court while rejecting super model Ayyan Ali pleas on suspension  of her non bailable arrest warrants, permanent exemption from attendance in the court and disposal of case against her has issued orders for arresting her besides presenting her before it till February 15 in money laundering case.

Rawalpindi Custom Court led by Judge Arshad Bhutta took up for hearing money laundering case against AyyanAli Wednesday. During the hearing of the case the court rejected Ayyan Ali’s petitions seeking suspension  of her non-bailable arrest warrants, permanent exemption from attendance in the court and disposal  of case and ordered to present Ayyan Ali on next hearing.

The witnesses were also issued notices summoning them on next hearing.  The court remarked the accused is prima facie is involved in currency smuggling.  Seizing currency is civil legal action of Collectorate Customs.  The accused goes to Oman from Dubai for treatment. Why she cannot come to Pakistan. If Ayyan Ali does not come   then proceedings will be initiated for declaring her proclaimed offender.

The court also ordered to give advertisement in media in connection with her summons by court, arrest her and produce before it till February 15. The court also summoned both guarantors of the accused by issuing nto8ices to them

The court also summoned guarantor of Ayyan Ali in connection with confiscation of two surety bonds of Rs 5 lac each. The court during previous hearing had reserved judgment on 3 petitions filed by the accused Ayyan Ali.
