LONDON: A spiritual and religious congregation was held at Darul Uloom Jilania Qaudria in Walthamstow, east London to pay rich tributes to Ghous-e-Paak Abdul Qadir Jilani on Sunday (December 30).
Mufakkir-e-Islam Peer Syed Dr. Abdul Qadir Jilani highlighted the relentless efforts of Ghous-e-Paak to spread the true message of Islam and to convert non-Muslims into Islam. “Ghous-e-Paak was wali and a pious and humble human being who played pivotal role for the cause of Islam. His teachings are true guidance for all of us and we should do our best to follow them”, he emphasised.
Dr. Abdul Qadir Jilani said when we started the noble tradition of holding Eid-Melad meeting and procession and celebrated the Urs of Ghous-e-Paak in this country; certain elements started opposing us and termed this practice against the Islamic junctures. But these people are doing the same and collecting the donations in the name of these two events.
Peer Syed Sabir Hussain Gilani said that Islam teaches us to respect others and follow the golden principals of Islam. “We are real Syed Hussaini and follow the true path of Islam shown to all of us by last Prophet [PBUH].
Peer Syed Mazhar Hussain Gilani said that last Prophet [PBUH] was sent by Almight Allah to guide all mankind and not only Muslims. Ghous-e-Paak struggled for the service of Islam in his whole life and his basic aim was to spread message of Almighty Allah.
Other speakers also narrated the life of Ghous-e-Paak. They said Ghaus-e-Azam had to just look at the thief once and this caused the thief to become a Wali!

His eldest son’s name was Sayyidi Sheikh Abdul Wahab (radi Allahu anhu) and he was also very pious. Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam always advised his children to fear no one but Almighty Allah and not to turn to anyone accept Allah.
