CJP Saqib Nisar to visit Britain to attend dams fund raising events

LONDON: Pakistan’s Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar will arrive in London on 20th November on about 10-day visit during which he shall attend fund raising events for dams construction in Pakistan. According to itinerary, he will address lawyers at Lincolns in on Wednesday, 21st November and discuss Pakistan’s overall situation. On Thursday, 22nd November, he will address a fund raising event at Royal Nawab to be organised by Centre for Policy Dimensions, on Friday 23rd, he will attend the event of same nature in Manchester and on Sunday, 25th November and 26th November. He will be the chief guest at an event being organised by UKPakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UKPCCI) at Hotel Inter-Continental, Park Lane, London on 25th November and World Congress of Overseas Pakistanis (WCOP) at Holiday Inn, Bloomsbury on 26th November. He shall attend the graduation ceremony of his son on Tuesday 27th November in London or Oxford (to be confirmed) and the next day on 28th November, he will fly back to Islamabad. Meanwhile, directors of Centre for Policy Dimensions, Mohammad Shafiq, Mohammad Sohail Babar and Coordinator Qaiser Abbas briefed mediapersons on Tuesday about the event and said that this is absolutely non-political event and aimed to serve Pakistan and Pakistani nation. “We are at this stage only because of our country and now it is high time to serve our homeland and countrymen”, they added.
