Million of rupees spent on foreign tours of senators


ISLAMABAD: Million of rupees had been spent on foreign tours of senators during the past three years. The inner sources stated that senators had availed nearly246 foreign torus during the past three years and millions of rupees spent on these tours.

According to report got through immigration sources that former Chairman Senate Main Raza Rabbani went on 17 foreign tours on government expenditure and Deputy Chairman Senate Saleem Mandviwla had five foreign tours on government expending.

Likewise, former Chairman Senate Farooq H Naek and Sherry Rehman had conducted three and four foreign tours respectively.

Leader of the opposition Raja Muhammad Zafar-ul-Haq and leader of the House Senator Shibli Faraz had conducted five and nine foreign tours respectively on the government expenditure.

According to the immigration sources, Senator Javid Abbasi, Barrister Saif had conducted eight and five foreign tours on government expending. Likewise, Senator Attique Sheikh had conducted four tours, Senator Khushbakht Shujaat four, Senator Abdul Qayyum four; Senator Usman Kakar had done 4 foreign tours.

Number of other senators had also utilized this. Furthermore senator Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hadari and Senator Sajid Mir had also conducted one foreign tour each on government spending. Sources further stated that senators including Siraj-ul-Haq,Molvi Faiz Muhammad, Atta-ur-Rehman hadn’t conduct any foreign tours.
