Condolence meeting held to pay homage to Naila Khaneen


BIRMINGHAM: In order to pay respect and tribute to Kashmiri woman leader Naila Khaneen, a condolence meeting was held here chaired by Qamar Jaleel (General Secretary, United Kashmir Peoples National Party). The meeting was held at Residence Palace, International Press Center and was organized by the United Kashmir Peoples National Party Europe Zone.

The speakers paid tribute to Naila Khaneenand said that she had dedicated her life for the Kashmir struggle and not only the party but the whole Kashmiri nation will miss her.

The meeting was attended by Sardar Amjad Yousaf President UKPNP Europe Zone, Jamil Maqsood, former central secretary of foreign affairs – United Kashmir People’s National Party (UKPNP), member of the Amalgam and Director for Brussels & Eastern Europe- International Human Rights Council.

Keynote speakers were Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri Exiled Chairman UKPNP, Dr Shabbir Ch. Junaid Qureshi, Councillor Ali Daalat, Tanveer Zaman, Bibi Mahdim Baloch, Nighet John, Munir Mengal, Nasir Aziz Khan, Zaffar Chagatai, Naseem Iqbal JKLF, Sajid Hussain and other. They expressed their views and stated that Madam Naila Khaneen was an iron lady who fought the struggle for freedom and independence of the state of Jammu and Kashmir till her death. She will always be alive in Kashmir history and she will remain in the heart and minds of our people. They also paid a tribute to her for her extraordinary contributions in the United Kashmir Peoples National Party. May Allah bless her with his infinite mercy and blessings.  Ameen.
