LONDON: The prominent singer Lily Allen has surfaced unforgettable incidents of her life in her new autobiography including a sensational claim of having sex with a celebrity friend of her father when she was just 14 years old.
The singer, who makes the revelation in her new autobiography ‘My Thoughts Exactly’, also claims her dad, actor Keith Allen, made a joke about it when he found out.
According to the 33-year-old star, the incident happened after she had watched the unnamed TV star playing in a charity football match.
She recalls [via The Sun]: “After the match, the TV star left his football gear in my dad’s car, and I was dispatched to his hotel to return it. “We arranged to meet in the bar there. He bought me a couple of drinks, then took me up to his room and had sex with me.I was 14. He was 19, but to me he seemed like someone from a different generation.
“Afterwards, I felt funny about it. I knew what had happened wasn’t right…”
She continued: “My dad turned it into a shtick with his friends.“They made up elaborate schemes to blackmail the guy and they rehearsed how they’d call him up and put the shits up him.
“I just know that my dad turned me having sex with this guy I hardly knew into a joke between him and his mates. That didn’t make me feel good.”
Earlier this week, Lily revealed her father was unhappy with other claims she made about him in her memoir. The singer writes about her dad having a “cocaine-induced heart attack” at Glastonbury when she was 13 years old, but she’s now revealed he has refuted that is what went down.
Appearing on Saturday’s ‘Jonathan Ross Show’, she tells the host: “I got quite a cross text from him this weekend. “He texted
In other chapters of her book, Lily details being sexually assaulted by a music executive after she fell asleep in his hotel bed.
Lily told The Guardian of how she awoke at 5am to “feel someone pressing their naked body against my back”. She went on telling details…(not being published her).
Lily claimed she jumped out of his bed “full of alarm” and left his hotel room.“I expected him not to take advantage of my weakness. I felt betrayed. I felt shame. I felt anger. I felt confused,” she said.
Lily did not report the matter as she was left feeling like she blamed herself over the incident because she had been drinking, and would be seen as “difficult” and “hysterical” if she went to police.
“If things went down, I told myself, he’d win,” she said. “What was the crime? Record industry executive didn’t rape me. Was I supposed to report someone trying it on? (Answer: yes.)”
She said she had wanted to name the man in her upcoming memoir, ‘My Thoughts Exactly’, but her legal advisers warned her against it.
Lily has previously spoken of her experiences with sexual harassment but this is the first time she has detailed a specific incident. She also speaks of her long-standing feud with Cheryl Tweedy, unexpectedly claiming their war of words was born out of sexual frustration, as she was yet to achieve orgasm.
