Fahima found buried under Australian patio


BOLTON:Tributes have been paid to a woman fromBolton whose body has been found buried in the garden of her family home in Australia. FahimaYusuf’s husbandAhmed Seedat has been charged with the murder of the 32-year-old mother of two,Asian Image hasreported. Her body wasfound in a shallow grave alongside the family home in Carlisle, in the south of the city of Perth, earlier thisweek.Policemade the discovery when they visited the house to investigate the disappearance of MsYusuf, who wasraised in Astley Bridge, which had been treated as suspicious. She had not been seen since Friday last week and the discovery was made on Wednesday. Officersspenttheday at the house and found the body buried just metres from children’s toys, it is reported. Piles ofsoil were dug up in the grounds of the house as part of the extensive police investigation. MsYusufisreported to have two young children, a boy and a girl. Her husband appeared at Perth Magistrates Court yesterday (Thursday) and will next appear at Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on September 26.Aclose friend of Ms Yusuf paid tribute to hersaying “she was an amazing girl and I am totally heartbroken”.Anotherspoke of their devastation adding: “I’m shocked, very shocked.” Aspokesman fortheBritish Foreign Office toldTheBolton News: “Our staff are in contact with the Australian authorities following the death of a British woman in Perth.”
