Land mafia: RDA issues notice to owner of deceptive housing scheme


ISLAMABAD: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Monday issued notice to Blue World City owner for extracting money from public at the name of illegal housing scheme.
The decision has been taken after news surfaced that the Blue World City management was making money through an illegal housing scheme whereas the scheme is not approved from the competent authority.
According to details, some corrupt people have launched a fake housing scheme at the name of Blue World City and extracting million of rupees from innocent people at the name of housing scheme. The alleged fraudsters, identified as member Rawalpindi district council Imran Aslam and Nadeem Ijaz, using name of some important leaders of PML-N to deceive people.
The people have appealed to NAB and other relevant authorities to take notice of the alleged fraud being committed at the name of fake housing society.
It is pertinent to mention here that RDA has also issued notification to the owner of the society and its sponsors. The notification asks the relevant persons in what capacity this fake housing scheme is being run.
The authority selling millions of rupees plots in files by illegally advertising.  The development authority has appealed the people to avoid investment in this fake housing society which is not approved from the competent authority.
According to details, former interior minister Chadhry Nisar Ali Khan’s name was being used to extract money from public. The owner of the society has been using Nisar as front man to deceive public.
By using influence, thousands of files have been sold out by the authority. General Manager Nadeem Ijaz and Imran Aslam are central characters of this fraud scheme. Thus, the PML-N government has completed its term but still these fraudsters are using their party leaders names to deceives public.
