Special prayers for quick health of Kulsoom Nawaz being held

LONDON: Special prayers and Qur’an khawani (reciting of holy Qur’an) were held for the early recovery and health of ailing Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, wife of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the Central Mosque and Islamic Centre, Brent.
Members of Pakistani community and other Muslims attended the religious and spiritual congregation in very large number and offered prayer for her. Addressing the gathering, Ch. M. Sadeeq, Chairman of the mosque and centre, also a prominent businessman, said that Begum Kulsoom Nawaz is going through a very critical period of time and it is our religious and humanitarian duty to pray to Almight Allah for early recovery and health.
“We are offering prayer for her in all five ‘Namaz’ and beg toAllah to bless her relief from pain and give her good health”, he said adding that we have sent her a bouquet of flowers as well. “We wish her become healthy again by the grace of Allah,” said the Ch. Sadeeq, President of UK-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UKPCCI). Begum Kulsoom Nawaz is critically ill and is under treatment at a Harley Street clinic.
