ISLAMABAD: The son -in-law of the Chief Minister Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif,AliImran was landed in hot waters as Rs 20.47 million payments was approved to him from the funds of “Saaf Pani” company.
The inner sources stated that Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif had played the main role regarding massive payments to Ali Imran from the funds of company, but now Saaf Pani Company financial matters audit has been completed and report sent to the apex court.
It revealed in the official documents that Punjab Saaf Pani company South administration had issued Rs 20.47 million to Ali Imran on November 14, 2016.The heavy funds payment given to Imran personal company Ali & Fatima Developers Primate limited in the account of six months’ rent for getting the 3rd floor of Ali Trade Centre.
Sourcess aid that floor rent was much higher than the market rate; moreover company hadn’t got NOC from government department C&W. Sources further stated that it was essential to get funds approval from the Board of Directors of Saaf Pani Company because company Chief Executive has no authority to pay heavy funds directly.
