NAB, AC being controlled from anywhere else; says Nawaz Sharif


ISLAMABAD: Ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has claimed that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Accountability Court (AC) are being controlled and dictated from anywhere else and a message was given to NAB that Nawaz has to be punished at any cost.

ISLAMABAD: Ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif meets Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai at Punjab House.

He said he was being meted out punishment on someone else dictation. Separate principles’ and criterion are being used in his and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran khan case, he added.
During an informal talk with media men outside accountability court Nawaz said double standard of courts will soon reach its logical end, however we will continue our struggle till the elimination of this double standard .
Not a judgment but a message was delivered to accountability court in the panama papers case that Nawaz has to be punished at any cost as he was not punished but being meted out punishment, he added. .
Court judgment contained the same words what our opponents are using against us, he added.
“I said all these things in 1999, plane hijacking case too which later proved true and today same matter has been repeated”, Nawaz said.
Former PM said that he has been trapped in Panama Leaks case in the same way he was sentenced in 1999 in plane hijacking case.
Replying a question about granting of bail by accountability court to PTI Chief in all cases registered against him, Nawaz said different laws and principles are being used in his and others cases, however it is not accountability but revenge but despite of all these we will continue to respect courts.
