LONDON: UK-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UKPCCI) and Federal Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pakistan have signed a memorandum to enhance their business relations and boost the trade between the two countries. The accord was signed by UKPCCI President Ch. M. Sadeeq and FCCIP Vice President Mirza Ishtiaq Baig at a dinner reception hosted by the UK Chamber here on Sunday.
Addressing the event, Ch. M. Sadeeq said that our platform can do its best to bring the two countries closer and our business relations would be beneficial for the economy of our countries as Pakistan is also our home.
“A delegation of Chamber would attend the ‘Expo’ which would be held in Karachi in November this year and it would be a good and practical experience to understand the requirements of two countries”, he added.
Expressing the gratitude over overwhelming reception, Mirza Ishtiaq Baig said that the way UKPCCI welcomed us is unforgettable and we shall also demonstrate the same gesture.
The members of both the chambers introduced themselves and their business for the information of participants. Mirzxa Ishtiaq Baig also presented a souvenir of the Chamber to Ch. M. Sadeeq.
Those who spoke at the occasion were including Kamran Khan, Ms. Tahira, Amjad Khan, Sardar Shafqat Khan, Mian Waheedur Rehman, Sajid Khan, Shahid Akhtar, Jehanzeb Anees, Aasif Yousuf, Shahid Mirza, Asad Hussain Shah, Adnan Zaheer and members of visiting Pakistani delegation. Commercial Counsellor of Pakistan High Commission Raja Asif also attended the reception.
